Our mission is to keep our community informed and up-to-date with the latest news and events in and around Sentinel. As a small-town newspaper, we take pride in the fact that we know the people we serve, and we are committed to providing reliable and accurate reporting for all. We believe that an informed community is essential to the continued growth and development of Sentinel, and we're committed to providing the kind of journalism that makes a difference. We are passionate about telling the stories that matter most to our readers. We strive to cover all facets of life in the Sentinel area, from the big stories that shape our community to the human-interest stories that inspire us.

At The Sentinel Leader, we're all about creating an innovative reading experience with an easy-to-read format, tons of photos, and plenty of history. We also offer a range of features and editorials covering everything from community, agriculture, business, and youth. Our special Dawghouse section is perfect for younger readers, featuring plenty of educational articles and fun activities including puzzles for them to enjoy.
